The girl blinked a few times, allowing her mind to come back down to the cavern. "Oh, um... Yes, I am." Alusis started forwards again, lightly kicking away a few pebbles and small-ish rocks as she went.

Mersonas looked up. A gentle breeze blew by, insignificant to anyone who hadn't spent their days boiling in a cavern. "We must be approaching." The smoke had begun to clear a bit, and he knew exactly where he was going now.

Alusis coughed a bit, the slight breeze making some of the smoke fly at her. She hated it down in the cavern. She couldn't see, she could barely breath, and it was just too hot. They needed air conditioning down there, but the canines have yet to create that on Iust'eusi. They really need to.

Mersonas turned a corner and then stopped. "There. The border is just past that tree." The smoke suddenly cleared, and trees erupted from every corner. The one the Dark signalled to was one with a kind of kink in it, and it was half dead. He gave an involuntary shiver. It was so cold compared to his home.

Alusis was sort of disappointed when the brute stopped and signalled to where the border was. She didn't want to leave, yet. It was fun, talking to a Dark, that is. She sighed, walking a little bit out of the cavern before turning towards Mersonas. She was now able to get a good look at him. Well, his human form. She smiled kindly, bowwing with respect. "Thank you for guiding me to the border, Sir Mersonas." She straightened her back and started to head for the border.

Mersonas was about to turn and leave, when suddenly he stopped again. "Will we meet again Alusis? It has been pleasant speaking to you, nice to know of something other than my own life and interests."

ooc: Mersonas is pretty much a male wolf, right~? Brute is the name for a male wolf. XD

The girl halted her steps right at the border. She turned, a tad bit of confusion glinting in her eyes. She thought for a slight moment before replying. "If fate allows, we shall meet again." She smiled again, waving in goodbye before stepping over the border.

Mersonas gave a nod, and a small smile crept onto his face. "Goodbye." He turned back into his original form, taking a moment to flex his claws and adjust to being back on four feet.
